Description
Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’ is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial celebrated for its profusion of upward and outward-facing, peachy-orange flowers that bloom from late spring through fall. These blossoms are borne in branched sprays, rising well above a lush mound of deep green, fuzzy foliage. Mature plants typically form a basal foliage mound up to 14 inches (35 cm) tall, with flowering stems reaching up to 30 inches (75 cm). ‘Totally Tangerine’ thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Hardy in USDA zones 5 through 9, this variety is deer and rabbit resistant and attracts pollinators such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
